You can reach Tulbagh from Cape Town on either the N1 or N7, we reccomend following the N1

From Farm Entrance:

• * Travel for approx 2.5km towards mountains ignoring all side roads,
• * through 2 cattle gates, past the orchards,
• * reach farm buildings on right and Sagtevlei house complex, and T-junction.
• * Turn right – Signpost on gum trees in front of you to Schalkenbosch.
• * The entrance to Schalkenbosch is approximately 4 kms from this Signpost.
• CAUTION: Speed humps and four drifts please drive slowly.

From Cape Town on the N1

• From Cape Town take the N1 North to Paarl.
• * Take R44 Klapmuts/ Wellington turnoff – Left, direction Wellington.
• * Follow the R44, left on the outskirts of Wellington- direction Hermon/ Ceres/ Porterville for about 50 kms – carrying on straight past Hermon Turn off.
• *Follow the R44 through the  Nuwe Kloof pass.
• * Turn left at sign: Tulbagh
• * At Stop, turn right away from town – direction Ceres/ Wolsley
• * 800m turn left at Sign: Schalkenbosch

From Cape Town on the N7

• * From Cape Town take the N7 to Malmesbury.
• * From Malmesbury take the R46 towards Riebeek-Kasteel.
• * Remain on the R46 to Hermon.
• * At Hermon, turn left, and continue to Tulbagh on the R46.
• * Go through the Nuwekloof pass
• * Turn left to Tulbagh
• * At Stop, turn right away from town
• * 800m turn left at Schalkenbosch Sign

From Cape Town Airport

• * Leave airport direction Somerset West
• * Take R300 and travel towards N1
• * Take N1 take the N1 North to Paarl.
• * Take R44 Klapmuts/ Wellington turnoff – Left, direction Wellington.
• * Follow the R44, left on the outskirts of Wellington- direction Hermon/ Ceres/   Porterville for about 50kms going straight at Hermon Turn off.
• * Follow R44 through Nuwe Kloof pass.
• * Turn left at sign: Tulbagh
• * At Stop, turn right away from town – direction Ceres/ Wolsley
• * 800m turn left at Sign: Schalkenbosch
